And no, it's not that MINDSET is magic. It does not, on it's own, fix any problems. But it can sure as hell stop you from solving them. Even permanently if you let them. And a strong, positive mindset can give you the courage and confidence to think outside the box, to believe things that seem improbable and find solutions that you wouldn't have stumbled upon otherwise.
But seriously. Marry that fucking dream. That's it. Be fully committed to it, even when it makes you want to pull your hair out, or feels like you've made a terrible mistake, or gets so rocky that you run off (alone) to a super-expensive yoga/meditation retreat 15 hours away to clear your head and decide whether you can even continue on. Be so committed that through all the good times and the bad, you always come back to the commitment eventually, with a renewed sense of passion, belief and determination. This is your silly, messed up dream, remember? You married it for a reason.

"So just as feedback, some friends and I noticed that the models on your website are a little larger. I think that might give some potential customers the wrong impression. You know, unfortunately - society values a certain ideal." You mean even my main two models, who are a size 6 and 10?
I woke up today (Christmas day no less) thinking 'I have what it takes!' Like a fierce 'I have what it takes' too! And I don't normally wake up thinking much of anything (except where's the f'n snooze button).... sothis thoughtbrought tears to my eyes! Tears of pride! Let me tell you why.
I have no idea how this business looks in the eyes of anyone else (nor is that really my business, to be honest). I only know it's been a helluva ride so far, and has definitely been full of challenges.
I’ve held my tongue in regards to what is going on politically for quite a while now - because, well ... I own a small business. A small business that I have invested so much of my financial, emotional and physical resources into since launching just this past July.
